Home Owner's Association (new window)

PasswordProtection.com can be used to protect information that is of interest to a group such as a home owners association. Budgets, expenses, meeting schedules, contact information and minute meetings are some of the items that a home owners association may wish to put on the Internet, but only allow limited access to. Each home owner would have a separate account to access the protected content. When a home is sold to a new owner, you would disable the previous account and setup a new account for the new owner. You can also optionally provide each homeowner with the ability to change their own password or email address.

Investment Newsletter (new window)

Say you are running a monthly investment newsletter. You have paying customers and bill them on a monthly basis or yearly. You can use PasswordProtection.com to control access to your newsletter content and expire username/password accounts on an individual basis. Additionally, you can enable new customers to sign-up for access to your newsletter by establishing a username/password. You can either give new customers immediate access or have new customers put into a pending status. If you elect to put users into a pending status when they signup, you would need to login to PasswordProtection.com and change the users status to enabled to give them access to your content. Our extensive logging detailing every login and our technology allowing only one login per account at a time will enable you to prevent abuse of your service.

Kids' Baseball League (new window)

Privacy is becoming a much bigger concern, especially with children. A kids' baseball coach can put information such as team schedule, waiver forms, game statistics, practice schedules, etc. on PasswordProtection.com and provide accounts to all of the team members. The coach may create the documents from within any program. This enables the coach to use the power of the Internet to gain parental involvement, without making the information available to the general public.
